Cotahuasi

Cotahuasi Valley and Canyon, located northeast of Arequipa in the province of La Union, this valley is made up of fanciful platforms that appear to hang in mid air and, a large number of waterfalls.
    * First day : Leave in  by the afternoon by bus.
    * Second day : Arrival in Cotahuasi, tour of the city,  Chayme bridge, neighbouring villages: the ruins of Collota, Taurisma, Alca and the Luicho hot springs.
    * Third day : Visit to waterfalls of Sipia, a taste of the  deepest Canyon in the world, an hour by car, the rest is an hour and a half walk.
    * Fourth day : Visit of the Ruins of Maukallacta and the village of Puyca. Return to the city of Arequipa by public bus, arriving the following day.
1.- Toro Muerto Stone Sculptures.
Leaving Arequipa, taking the route towards Lima you will find the fabulous stone sculpture complex known as Toro Muerto. Here one can appreciate animal shapes and others from the Huari and Chuquibamba cultures.
2.- Sumbay Caves, located behind the Misti volcano. The significance of Sumbay lies in its archeological resources and its caves which exhibit valuable rock paintings from the Paleolitic Era.
3.-Andahua : Valley of the Volcanoes: Located in the eastern part of Castilla Province this Valley posseses a spectacular beauty due to the presence of a multitude of small extingueshed volcanoes that according to studies have an age between 1 million years and 50,000 years.

Rafting on the Chili

Duration: 4 hours Leaving between 9:00 and 13:00 this includes transportation, equipment and a guide.

The river has a degree of difficulty between grade  3 and 4, according to the season.

Climbing Chachani

Duration: 2 days.

  First day : leave Arequipa at 8:00am, travelling by car to Cabrerías, about 3 and a half hours away (at 5000m), from there there is a 2 hour ascent to the base camp (5300 m).
    * Second day : after breakfast there is a 3 or 4 hour ascent to the summit, where we find snow permanently (6075m).  After a short time at the summit, you return to the camp and from there to the transport. Return to Arequipa at 18:00 or 19:00.
      Includes : guide, crampons, piolets, equipment, tent, cooking equipment and medical kit.  There is an additional charge for food.

Visit to Nasca

First day : Depart for Nasca at night by bus (10 hours).
Second day : Arrival in Nasca, breakfast, a flight over the Nasca Lines, visit to the Cemetery of Chaullicha, trip to Pisco, and a night in a Hotel.
Third day : Visit to the Island Cross-bows and return to Arequipa.

Visit to Puno

Travel from Arequipa to Puno by bus, train or plane.
    * First day : tour of Sillustani
    * Second day :   leaving at about 8:30am, you go to the port to take the boat, which will take you to the Floating Islands of Uros, and then continue the voyage to the Island of Taquile, where there is a town that conserves the social structure of the Incas. To reach the town, you have to climb approx. 358 stone steps, from the top of which the view of the lake is impressive. The accommodation is in the villagers' houses: the visitor will experience the customs and food of the island.  You will have lunch and dinner, and visit the pre-Inca ruins.
    * Thirth day : breakfast, return to the boat to visit the neighbouring island of Amantani, which has beautiful landscapes, and to appreciate the customs of the inhabitants. After lunch, you return to the city of Puno at 17:30, to the hotel.
